WHAT IS A DAY OF DESIGN PROJECT?

With a day of design projects, our team can facilitate your smaller design project. We work with you to create a space that represents everything you envision.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

DISCOVERY CALL

A complimentary discovery call with one of our designers. We learn more about your home and design goals, while you get to know us and our process.

SCHEDULE

Once we determine your design needs, we will set up an appointment with one of our designers to meet with you in person or virtually to help you with your project for 5 hours.

DESIGN PLAN

During this stage we want to make the most of our time together so we plan and prepare a plan prior to our design day.

DAY OF DESIGN

Your day of design has finally come! You and your designer will meet how you have agreed upon and accomplish the design goals you have constructed together.

WHAT DOES A DAY OF DESIGN INCLUDE?

Your day of design includes:

15 minute discovery call
Design questionnaire
30 minute planning call with project designer
5 hour meeting with a designer at your home or virtually
30 minute follow-up call

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR A DAY OF DESIGN PROJECT?

Through our years of design and construction experience, we have developed a streamlined design process. This practice maintains a collaborative approach with little to no stress.

This process may vary slightly from project to project, most projects typically follows these steps.

DESIGN PLANNING

After your day of design has been scheduled, the pre-planning can begin!

The project designer starts off by sending you a design questionnaire for you to complete. A few days before your scheduled day, you will have a 30-minute video chat to review your questionnaire together, discuss your budget, and create a scope of work or plan for the design day.

DAY OF DESIGN

You will be working with your designer for 5 hours (not including a quick lunch break!). Your designer can facilitate paint colour selections, furniture selections, rearranging your existing furniture, hanging artwork, styling bookshelves, or many other things. It depends entirely on what you and your designer determine what you need to accomplish your design objectives. Your designer will leave you with notes as well as a to-do list for any outstanding items that you need to complete on your own.

FOLLOW UP CALL

A few weeks after we have transformed your home, we will have a 30-minute follow up call to check in on the progress of your to-do list and discuss any other questions you have.
